Evening 1
The first round of the DBMM Grand Prix took place on Thursday 19th March 2009. Even with four of the original entrants crying off, we still had twelve players. Gordon Harrow, Dave Mather and John Saunders travelled to MK for the evening and the new faces added greatly to the evening. All of the games were played with great spirit, and the variety of armies and compositions ensured that every game had its own unique challenge. A Scotsman with 4 expendables within a 100 point army is a frightening experience! The next round in May.

Evening 5
The 2009 season came to an end with the fifth round of the DBMM 100 Grand Prix. For this round players were allowed to select any army from all four books: players would then randomly draw one of the selected armies. Players would not be able to use their own army. This brought about some very interesting armies, and Steven Bounds’ WWg(S), for his Middle Assyrian were accepted only because thet were pretty!
