Milton Keynes Wargames Society Blood Bowl League
In the past the Blood Bowl League has been very popular with our members whether Historical, Fantasy, or Sci-Fi gamers. No previous Blood Bowl experience is required, only enthusiasm and a compulsory sense of humor. The League will run throughout the year, with the first Thursday meeting of each month being the default or “Blood Bowl Thursday”.
The 2012 Blood Bowl League will begin on Thursday 2nd February 2012 and players and fixtures for the 2012 season can be found below.

Round 6 2008
Rules
For the first phase the players will be placed in conferences or mini leagues. Players will play all the other players within their conference. The order and date of all matches will be determined prior to the commencement of the League.
After the first phase the top two teams from each conference will be placed within two further second phase conferences. A second phase plate will be organised for third and fourth placed teams if there is interest.
Once all of the second phase conference games have been completed the top two teams from each conference will enter the Semi Finals.
If teams end the season on the same points score, then the final positions will be determined initially by comparing TD differences, then Highest number of TDs, and then the head to head result betwen the players. If the players are still tied then final position will be decided by dice.
All games are scheduled for the Blood Bowl Thursdays. The dates of the Blood Bowl Thursdays will be fixed once the conference sizes have been determined. Although games will be ideally played on the appropriate Blood Bowl Thursday, the match may be played at any meeting prior to the nominated Blood Bowl Thursday for the next round. Matches may only be played between teams that have completed the same number of rounds. If neither player can play on the appropriate Blood Bowl Thursday or a subsequent meeting before the next Blood Bowl Thursday, then the result of the match will be a 1-1 draw, with each team receiving 1MVP, 1 TD, and 1 casualty, which will be randomly distributed. If only one player is unable to play a match during the appropriate gaming period the game will be conceded, the result determined as a 1- 0 loss and the conceding player suffers penalties as per the rules; the winning player receives 1MVP and 1 TD randomly distributed. To claim the win, a player must attend the appropriate Blood Bowl Thursday.
There will be NO winnings for teams with a bye or teams involved in a fixture that was not played.
