DBMM Grand Prix Table
The DBMM 100 Grand Prix was won in fine style by Jim Gibson. Jim showed an outstanding level of consistency over the three rounds. Well done Jim, roll on the 2009 season.

Evening 1
The first round of the DBMM 100 Grand Prix took place on Thursday 17th July 2008. With two of the original entrants crying off, Neil Powell (with no previous experience of DBMM) stepped in at the last moment to even up the numbers. All of the games were played with great spirit, and the variety of armies and compositions ensured that every game had its own unique challenge. A Seleucid composing of almost entirely of fast knights, an Arabo-Aramaean of mainly Ps and a TF, a Skythian with a bucket load of cheap elements, and only Mike would think of a Mountain Indian! So on to the next round in August. We’ll have to wait and see how creative the boys will be.

Evening 2
The second round of the DBMM Grand Prix took place on Thursday 28th August 2008. The numbers were down on the previous round due to holidays, last minute familly visits and poor eyesight (15/6mm too small). First time for my 6mm Byzantines after twenty years in a box! Roll on November for round 3.
